All courses will be a mixture of introductory demonstration AND hands-on cooking by participants.
​There will be a maximum of 8 people per class, with lots of food to taste and plenty opportunity for questions and discussion.
Not all courses are available all the time - this is a pop-up cooking school after all - New dates will be posted regularly so best is to "like" our Facebook page for notifications or check back here!

Fast 'n Fab Family Meals
​Are you and your family bored with the usual suppers, the same dishes each week? If so, come learn some fast and healthy options to keep your entire family happy. Learn how to make simple dishes look wonderful and how clever use of herbs and spices can liven up your regular repertoire.

Flavours of the Middle East

Send them on this uFoodie course for a foundation session covering the basics of how to shop, cook and eat cheaply, easily and healthily. Its the perfect time to learn this important life skill so they can replicate your home cooking!

This one is for the hubbies! An essential course for them to learn to (a) cook a fab breakfast in bed for their better half (b) to cook a weekend lunch for their family and (c) to cook a knock-out dinner for friends. Simple but impressive recipes that are sure to make them all feel like Gordon Ramsay!

​Wonderful, impressive but SIMPLE desserts that can be prepared ahead of time and finished off easily just before serving. Decadent chocolate fondant, wonderful baklava ice cream cake, French apple tartlets, peppermint crisp puddings and more to give you a perfect end to the meal.​

A great way to reduce the amount of sugar in our diets, low carb eating is the new way to increase health and even lose a bit of excess weight! Learn some fabulously tasty and easy recipes to replace some of your usual high carb high sugar favourites (even an amazing bread pictured here)

Suitability

These courses are suitable for those between beginner intermediate. They are suitable for anyone who has a grasp of the basics, but wants to raise the bar, bringing a level of interest and variety to their food. if you feel you are rotating the same recipes all the time, and want to bring a bit more pizzazz to the plate, then this is just what you need!  They are designed specifically for people who cook for friends and family, but have a limited repertoire, and may not be confident to try new things. The courses are therefore not ideally suited to  very experienced cooks who often cook new recipes and experiment on their own.

  • ALL COURSES - 10am - 1pm (please arrive from 9.30am for refreshments)
  • STUDENT SURVIVAL - 10am - 3pm (please arrive from 9.30am for refreshments)

Dietary Information

​When you book a course you will be sent a questionnaire to complete, outlining your dietary requirements. We will try accommodate your needs as best as we can but the courses are general in nature and open to all audiences, and not specifically designed to suit those with food preferences, allergies, dietary conditions or religious dietary requirements e.g. The kitchen (utensils etc) is not kosher. For certain courses (where expressly specified), kosher/halal meat can be purchased for you and main dietary laws followed, though this will be in a non-kosher kitchen. Similarly, we cannot guarantee the course is free from nuts and other allergens, or gluten. You are not obliged to eat any of the food, and can choose to omit or replace certain items in your recipes, but allergens may still be present in the kitchen, and we cannot guarantee against cross contamination. We will provide full allergy information for each recipe so you can double check. Everyone is most welcome whatever your food requirements and we will try assist as much as possible within the parameters outlined above.
